Year 3 recently visited the ‘Life Space’ which came to the school in the form of a special tent set up in the hall. The Life Space teacher, Nancy, accompanied by her assistant Harold (the giraffe!) spoke to the children about the different organs in the body, discussing which one they believed to be the most important. The children then ‘met the brain’ who explained how he is able to control the tent, sending and receiving signals through nerves.
If you would like to find out more about Life Space it will be in the hall during our parents’ evening on Tuesday 8th October.
