Lollipop Sign

A polite but important reminder

This is an important message from the School Crossing Patrol Team and the School:-

Did you know?

  •  The morning crossing times have now changed to 8.25am to 9.10am?
  • It is important that you do not park on the zig zag lines.

By way of explanation, the lines are there for the protection of the Crossing Patrol and pedestrians.  When you pull up to drop your children, whether it be for 10 seconds or 10 minutes, you cause an issue with the flow of traffic which then has an impact on the safety of the patrol staff as well as all the other users of the crossing.  The lines are not there to penalise you, they are there to enforce SAFETY which we should all be mindful of around the school entrance. Please do not use the school’s car park entrance as a turning point.

The school and the patrol team would be very grateful if you would consider very carefully where you pull up or park when you drop your children – this is for the  SAFETY OF ALL.

Parking enforcement officers have been asked to attend to help nip these issues in the bud.

Should you wish to discuss any of the above, please do not hesitate to call, Michelle Eaton, on 07775 407912.

Many thanks indeed for taking the time to read this.
